Surgery In Four Years

Well, actually, in a little under four years.

I received a phone call from the pacemaker department of my cardiologist this morning.  My pacemaker transmitted its monthly results last night while I was sleeping.

The results are pretty much the same as always:  leads are fine, I have had no critical events recorded in the previous month, my fluid levels are fine in terms of my congestive heart failure, and everything else is in normal parameters as well.

As to my battery life, I have four years left on the battery.  Which means that I will probably have surgery in three years and eight months (June of 2021).

So, all things considered, I’m fine for now.  The next transmission is in a month.
