This morning, we had our monthly Pastoral Council meeting. At the end of the meeting, I thought we were done. But, it was one of those, “One more thing…” kind of moments. One of the council members walked out of the conference room and came back in with a birthday cake so that we could celebrate my birthday. I’ll be sixty-one this coming Monday, October 30th.

Then, this afternoon, I received a phone call from a friend whom I had not had a chance to speak with for a couple of weeks. Out of the blue, a nice surprise to make my afternoon!
God sure is wonderful with the surprises He sends our way, isn’t He?
HAPPY BIRTHDAY on the 30th! Frank and I were married on the 31st… Halloween. (In 1953 Halloween wasn’t such a big deal, altho my parents pleaded with me to change the date. I love reading your musings! God Bless and enjoy your day! Pat Kish
