Yep, tonight is “New Year’s Eve”. That is to say, it is the eve of the new liturgical year in the Church. The eve of the First Sunday of Advent. Advent is all about preparation. We need to do everything that we can to prepare ourselves spiritually for the celebration of Christmas.
