Long Day But Ending With Blissful Music!

Today was a pretty long day.  Mondays always begin rather early because I have the 6:30 a.m. Mass.  That means that I get up a little after 4:00 a.m. and am opening the chapel at 5:00 a.m. for those who come extra early to pray.  Then, I hit the office and work until Mass time.

After Mass, I had lots of office work to do.  We are working ahead on our Sunday bulletins because of holiday schedules.  They need to be sent to the printer earlier than usual.

This evening, I had a standing appointment at 6:00 p.m. and then, at 7:30 p.m., the Knights of Columbus meeting.  After the meeting, I came back to the office to continue working on the bulletin for December 24th.  I am still in my office and am just getting ready to go to the house to crash.

But, I just have to say that the past half hour was filled with bliss as I have been listening over our monitor speaker to the Schola Cantorum rehearse for Lessons and Carols this coming Sunday, December 17th, at 6:00 p.m.

If you have an opportunity, you owe it to yourself to come to the program.  The scriptures and music speak to all about Christmas and are a wonderful preparation for so great a day.  I hope to see you there!
