No Humbug Here

This evening, our kindergarten through third grade students “sang their guts out” at a Christmas concert.  They were so cute and so exuberant.  I keep thinking, if we could somehow bottle their energy and sell it, we’d be millionaires!  🙂

As the day gets closer, I hope and pray that you are getting yourselves ready not only “socially” but spiritually.  After all, Christmas is more than shopping and gifting and visiting and eating.  It is about the celebration of the birth of Christ.

One of the ways we, as Catholics, prepare for Christmas is by going to confession to clean our souls.  Here is a listing of penance services in the Southlake Deanery.  The first of the services begins tomorrow evening at St. Joseph Church in Dyer.  All services are at 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted.
