Four To Eight Inches?

Just because we have entered the official season of winter is no reason for Old Man Winter to give us any grief.  You all know how I fret about the weather.  You can imagine how my insides are squirming over the winter storm watch that we are now under.  Four to eight inches of snow predicted tomorrow between 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Oh yes, did I forget to mention that tomorrow evening at 5:30 p.m. we have our Vigil Mass for Christmas?  Did I forget to mention that while we are cleaning up that snow, people will be trying to park for the Vigil Mass?  Did I forget to mention that if the snow extends itself it will affect our Midnight Mass of Christmas.

I know, I know, “everyone” wants a white Christmas.  Well count this someone out of the everyone list.  I’m more worried about the parking situation on our lots and about my parishioners slipping and falling.  It’s already bad enough that Christmas is back-to-back with Sunday, now we add the fretting about the weather to the equation.

Oh well, as everyone tells me, there’s nothing I can do about it.  I know that.  You know that.  But someone forgot to tell my stomach acid!
