This weather has been horrible. The ground is still frozen, the rains have melted the piled up snow, and the rains are still falling, falling, falling. That makes for a horrible recipe for disaster for many people near rivers and streams.
I know many people in Munster that are anxiously watching the river creep up its holding walls. Some bridges have been sandbagged, many roads are closed, and homes are in jeopardy of flooding.
All we can do is watch helplessly and pray. I’m praying for all of you out there in low-lying areas. Fingers are crossed til they’re turning blue. I hope you will be all right as you dredge up memories of 2008.
Please, Lord, let that not happen again.
