It’s Official!

Today, in a special handing over ceremony, the ship builders formerly presented the Symphony of the Seas to Royal Caribbean and Royal Caribbean formerly accepted the ship.

At this time, the Symphony of the Seas goes into the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest cruise ship at 228,081 gross registered tons (GRT) and with a capacity of 6,680 total passengers and 2,200 crew members.

I will be sailing on the Symphony of the Seas this coming October on its transatlantic cruise from Barcelona, Spain to its home port in Miami.  I am really looking forward to sailing on this ship.  It looks phenomenal.
