Tonight we celebrated our volunteers. Each year, around this time, we have a Volunteer Appreciation Dinner. Many people who volunteer their time in all sorts of capacities at the parish come out and enjoy good food and good fellowship.
One thing is most certain — and I tell them this each year — I would never be able to “run” a parish of our size without the help of so many active and engaged people. They are the face of the parish and I am deeply grateful to them for all that they do. I know the people they encounter as just as grateful for them.
