Change Is Coming

This weekend, at all the Masses, we discussed the upcoming assignment changes and how they would affect St. Thomas More Church.

Reverend Jordan C. Fetcko is being granted a temporary leave of absence to discern a possible religious vocation with the Dominican Order. He will leave June 30th. Fr. Jordan has been discerning a vocation to the Dominicans for some time now and the bishop is granting him the opportunity to fully enter into formation in the order. If this is what Fr. Jordan feels the Lord is calling him to do, he will ultimately leave the Diocese of Gary and permanently join the order. Please keep Fr. Jordan in your prayers.

Reverend Andrew ]. Corona will provide sacramental assistance at St. Thomas More Parish in Munster. He will begin July 1st. Fr. Andrew Corona was the pastor of Nativity of Our Savior in Portage for several years and, last fall, left his assignment on a medical leave. He is still working on his health issues. He will be in residence at St. Thomas More and will be responsible for sacramental help. What that means is that he will celebrate weekend and weekday Masses as well as help with confessions and do anointing at the hospital and nursing homes. Please keep Fr. Corona in your prayers as he continues his journey to healing.
