The Future’s So Bright, I’ve Got To Wear Shades

Just not today.

No.  Today will be the longest day of dark as it is the first day of winter, the Winter’s Solstice.  From here, each day will begin to get a little bit lighter until full-blown summer once again will be upon us.

I guess the thought of bright and warm days can help cheer the hearts of those who feel so gloomy when it is dark and cold for so much of the day.  We need something to look forward to experiencing.

Think of that when the dark, dreary, cold days of winter seep into your bones.  It cannot remain.  It will not last.  The warmth and light of the sun will come back to us soon, a little bit more each day, beginning tomorrow!
