I didn’t know what to do with myself this afternoon. I could actually go outside without worrying about getting soaked by the rain! But, hey, I’m not going to complain. A lot of people have had issues with water in their homes and I wouldn’t wish any more rain on anyone right now.
We put a number of plants from Easter outside the church this morning for anyone to take home if they wish. I actually took two big pots that had three plants in each pot and transplanted the hydrangeas in our back yard. I planted them under the trees as they like shade. I’m looking forward to seeing them come up year after year. If there are still some tulips left tomorrow, I’ll bring some to the backyard and put them in as well.
I’m all set for First Communion tomorrow. Books are set, scapulars put out in front of the altar. I’ll go over tomorrow morning early and open everything up. Should be a good day.
The best part about today is that I am going to end it soon. It’s getting close to jumping into bed time. Yippee.
