It was a glorious day today at Holy Angels Cathedral when Bishop Hying ordained a deacon and a priest for the Diocese of Gary. I am extra excited because the newly-ordained priest will be coming to St. Thomas More as our new associate pastor. I get another newly ordained to break . . . um, I mean, to break in! 🙂

I’m sorry I missed the occasion, and I look forward to Father McNicholas joining our “family”. My sister, Deanna Reffkin, and her husband, Dick Reffkin, attended the ordination and said it was beautiful. Today is my grandson’s graduation, and I’m privileged to attend that. God Bless Father McNicholas and God Bless my grandson Will!
