A Good Day. A Very Good Day!

There’s an hour and a half left to the festival tonight; but, there’s not an hour and a half left in me. I had to give up and head to the hotel to hit the sack. I’m very, very, very tired.

I walked the festival grounds before leaving. There are huge crowds everywhere and everyone seems to be having a good time. The bands have drawn big crowds in the tent and the rides are a hit. It’s helped that the weather has been better today (THANK YOU, GOD!)

Tomorrow’s forecast looks to be much of the same as today. Cool and overcast but no rain. I hope it stays that way. The carnival company is finally realizing a good week. Most of their weeks this year have been partially if not completely rained out.

A couple of people came up to the Information Booth today and suggested that we Facetime the raffle drawing Sunday night. We will look into that. Not promising. Just promising to look into the possibility. If it’s possible, we just might be live on Sunday night for the big draw.

Thank you to all the volunteers who make our festival a success and to all of you who come out to enjoy what the festival has to offer. We couldn’t do it without all of you!

Well, folks, that’s all for me. I’m hitting the sack. G’night. See you tomorrow.
