This morning and early afternoon was really busy making preparations for one of our retired priests who passed away suddenly at home and will be buried next week.
Kindly keep the repose of the soul of Fr. David Gosnell in your prayers. Pray for him and for his grieving family and friends, please.
Reverend David Gosnell passed away on Friday, August 30th. Father Gosnell was born on January 21, 1941 and was ordained on May 29, 1965. Root Funeral Home, 312 E. 7th Street in Michigan City (219‐874‐6209), is handling arrangements.
Visitation will take place at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, 509 W. Division Road, Valparaiso on Tuesday, September 3. The Rite of the Reception of the Body will be at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will conclude at 6:00 p.m. with Evening Prayer.
On Wednesday, September 4, visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Morning Prayer will be at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m.
