I received a phone call this morning while I was on the way to the Pastoral Center. It was from the pacemaker department. My pacemaker had transmitter a month’s worth of data last night and the tech was calling to tell me that my leads are stable, I had no recorded events in the past month, and I have 18 months of battery life left.
I’ll take that!
At the Pastoral Center, I met with the auditor who was in charge of examining the diocese’s efforts at Safe Environment. He was pleased with what we are doing and with the documentation of our training sessions, running checks, and the like. He gave us some helpful suggestions that we can implement as well.
All in all, it was a very good day.
