This morning, I received a call that Chet Nordyke had passed away. He had not been in good health for some time now and I had responded numerous times over the past couple of years to hospital calls to anoint him. He passed away in his sleep. He is pictured here with his new puppy, Blossom, several years ago.
Chet was a convert to the faith and an ardent supporter of Catholicism as well as Catholic Education. He was a principal at a few Catholic schools, high school as well as grade school, and retired from our grade school, St. Thomas More, five years ago.
