So Much To Do

This week will be very busy.  Between funerals, meetings, and Holy Day of Obligation Masses mid-week for New Year’s, I have to finish a couple of bulletin pages and a week’s worth of daily reflections as well as do laundry and pack.  I’ve got lists of things to check off as the tasks are accomplished and it looks rather daunting right now.  However, the pay off will be vacation next week, so it should all be worth it.

For now, though, I’m thinking about an early-to-bed.  I went to bed last night and was awakened to go to a parishioner’s house to anoint someone who passed away early this morning.  I also had to get up early for the 6:30 and 8:00 a.m. Masses, so I’m kind of stumbling around about now.

I think I’m going to call it a day.  I have to make sure that I begin my night in bed as my pacemaker monitor will activate in the middle of the night and send a month’s worth of data to the cardiologist’s office.  They’ll call me tomorrow with a report.

G’night, all.
