This morning, I played bus roulette. I went to the bus stop in front of our resort determined to take the first bus that stopped. It was the Animal Kingdom bus; so, I went to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. I was greeted, on my arrival, by the Tree of Life.
After entering the park, I went to Harambe to do the Kilamanjaro Safari.
Some hippos at rest
An assortment of animals
Lions on “pride rock”
After the safari, I went to “It’s Tough To Be A Bug”. This is a perennial favorite of mine as well.
This evening, I went to dinner with a few friends. Some are here for the marathon weekend and it was good to catch up with them. We went to the Biergarten in EPCOT’s Germany Pavilion.
After dinner, we went on a “fireworks cruise”, a pontoon boat that took us past the bridge at International Gateway. There, we watched EPCOT Forever, the temporary show (kind of ironic that it’s called “forever” when it’s only until mid-summer). The link below shows you what we saw.
Vacation. It’s so good to be away. And now, it’s time for bed. A bit late for me; so, I should most likely sleep really good. g’night
