Creation

I went to the Creation Museum today.  The fundamentalists who built this place think that the world is 6,000 years old and that dinosaurs lived at the same time as people.  No concept of carbon-dating, I guess.

The museum had some high quality dinosaurs, I give them that, as well as wonderful — and real — dinosaur fossils and fossil eggs.

Science and religion can exist together and, I believe, science has shown us the progression of millions of years and not just 6,000 years.  I also find it really hard to believe that dinosaurs and people lived together, unless you’re talking about the Flintstones.

  1. I guess my friend Sherry White (and her husband Bob) didn’t miss CREATION because we were too tired after walking the ARK. Your comments, though, helped a lot. The Bible tells us a lot, but science needs to be listened to, too.
If you have the time, try to see the Derby Museum. It covers the Kentucky Derby (which was cancelled in May due to the pandemic, and is scheduled to run soon), the riders and the horses. (I love horses!)

    1. Tomorrow’s my last full day. Not sure I’m going to get to it. If I have a chance, I’ll look it up.
