I feel the same about Halloween, although October 31st is also our 67th wedding anniversary. I can remember Mom and Dad pleading with me not to marry on Halloween. But that would be the first Saturday that Frank would be out of the Army, so Halloween it was. I have to admit, our anniversaries were spent taking kids around for “trick or treat”. That was long ago!
