Well, it’s over. Today was my last day of my staycation. Tomorrow morning, I have the 8:30 a.m. Mass and am “back in the office” and at work once again.
It was a good almost two weeks off. I really needed the time away from work. My last vacation was last January except for a five day private retreat that I made in July.
Taking time off is good for the soul. It’s prepared me to return to work with more enthusiasm than I have had in the recent past.
And, I’m returning to a cleaner office since that was one of the things that I did — during off hours — on my staycation!
