Today is the feast of St. Nicholas, commonly known as Santa Claus. While very little is known about this popular saint, we do know that he was a bishop and that he did his best to help the poor and needy in his village. Stories abound of his creative ways in helping others in need and those stories have been told and retold through the ages.
We are all called to be kind to others and to do our best to provide for their needs. Let’s be creative in doing so as we remember jolly old St. Nicholas.
