I was on hold today for an hour and a half so that I could pay my dues for Disney Vacation Club. I tried paying them online as we are supposed to be able to but kept getting an error message that I was trying to pay more than I owed even though I checked the box for “Pay Balance”.
I called member services and transferred to the accounting department and then put the phone on speaker so that I could listen to the music-on-hold Christmas list one and a half times. It’s interesting to note that their queue music is one hour long.
The problem was a coding error on the part of accounting that forced us to have to make calls instead of doing things on line. I kept thinking that one of the largest corps in the world should be able to get their tech straight before going live. Apparently not. No pixie dust for you, Disney.
