It’s been such a sad week. Tomorrow, I will have celebrated my fourth funeral. Tomorrow’s is for our school’s band director. I have a couple other parishioners just barely hanging on as well. The weather has been dark and gloomy as well. It makes for the perfect storm of sadness.
Of course, it doesn’t help any that this week has been a sore one for me as well, recovering from a nasty spill I took in church last week after a funeral. The older you get, the easier it is to injure yourself and the longer it takes to heal.
I know this isn’t anything new; however, getting old sucks!
Okay. Now that I said that, I feel somewhat better. 🙂
