There are those days when I wake up and say to myself, “Dear Lord. Why didn’t you take me last night?!” I woke up like that this morning with a raging sinus headache. The weather has been changing so much lately and the pressure fronts are playing havoc with my sinuses. I feel as if it would be best if my head just exploded right off my shoulders. Then the pressure would go down. Of course, so would I. 🙂
Today was relatively uneventful, thank God. I had morning Mass and then a meeting afterward. For the rest of the morning, I did office work as well as worked a little bit ahead on the Daily Reflections. Anything that didn’t involve a whole lot of movement.
By the afternoon, I was ready to rest a bit. I went to the house for lunch and sat in my recliner to watch a little television. That was my intention. However, the damp weather, dark skies, and my headache all combined to put me to sleep. I actually napped. I only hope that I will be able to sleep tonight. I generally have a hard time sleeping at night if I nap. Might have to resort to a little pharmacological help tonight.
