This fall, I’m going on a Canada/New England cruise for the first time. It is a nine day cruise in September and leaves from Port Liberty, NJ. I hear that it is much better to fly into Newark Airport than either of the New York airports. The only problem is that I cannot get a flight from Midway. So….
This afternoon, I got online and checked the United web site. A round trip ticket from O’Hare for their premium economy (extra leg room) was $536. I decided, what the heck, and went over to American Airlines web site. I purchased a round trip ticket from them instead for $596. I know that it is $60 more than United; however, instead of premium economy, I got tickets for first class. That includes premium beverages and two free checked in bags.
As I said in the header of tonight’s blog post, the decision was absolutely a no brainer! Now, I just have to wait for September to get here. 🙂
