Well, I had my colonoscopy this morning. I arrived at the hospital for my 8:00 a.m. intake time. My procedure was scheduled for 9:00 a.m. and they were on time. From the time I was wheeled out of my room to the procedure room until the time I returned was 25 minutes. That was great time as they said the procedure itself could take 30-60 minutes.
The doctor said that there were no polyps and that everything looked good. I do have diverticulosis; but, that is common. I asked him if that meant 10 years to the next exam and he said that it would be 5 years because of my age. Boo! But, I guess these things are necessary.
I’ve been resting since my return home about 11:30 a.m. and I am looking forward to an undisturbed sleep tonight. I was up most of the night as you can well imagine. And if you can’t imagine, that’s good for you. I won’t plant any picture in your head. 🙂
