Today was a relatively busy day. Filled with meetings at the diocese. A Consultors’ Meeting at 11:00 a.m. that lasted until 12:57 p.m. and then a Priests’ Council Meeting that ran from 1:00 to 2:57 p.m.
When I got back to the parish, I had to work on the bulletin cover and the Pastor’s Page for the Sunday, July 10th bulletin. It has to be transmitted tomorrow because of the Fourth of July holiday.
After I finished my bulletin work, I had ten minutes to get to Theo’s for dinner at 6:30 p.m. with three of my parishioners. One of them just finished college and is moving to Madison, WI tomorrow to begin a new job. He’s really excited and his two brothers were excited for him as well.
After all that, I got back to the house about 8:40 p.m. and I must admit that I am ready to crash!
