I fell today on a shore excursion. It wasn’t pretty. And, as people were helping me up, I was so embarrassed. I ripped up my knee pretty bad, fell on my chin and hurt my jaw, and broke the screen on my phone when I landed on it.
I was shocked and pleasantly surprised when medical told me that since it was a ship excursion, there would be no cost to my doctor’s visit, x-ray, treatment, and follow-ups.
I have to go back tomorrow for a bandage change on my knee. The nurse told me that the knee was going to be very purple tomorrow. We’ll see.
So, that’s all the news that’s fit to print. Klutz out.
Oh, yea. P.S. We lose an hour of sleep tonight as we set out clocks ahead one hour upon going to bed. That’s absolutely fine with me because we get an extra hour of sleep on the way back! 🙂
