I do not know about you, but I am a bit concerned about today's weather forecast. They are calling for "slight chance of flurries."I want a blizzard!
Now, before you go saying I am crazy -- and there are several people who would not argue with that assessment! -- let me tell you my reason why: "March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb."
We have had a lot of crazy weather this year.
Granted, we in northwest Indiana seem to have missed a lot of weather (dodged the bullet is what many have said about us) that has afflicted the rest of the nation this season. However, if we get a blizzard today (lion), then maybe the weather can begin to soften up and become much more mild (lamb).
I, for one, am ready for this winter to end.
I miss sun and green trees and flowers even if those trees and flowers produce pollens that make my eyes itch and my nose run.
I miss the signs of spring and summer.
I want to see the color of flowers more than in a vase in my office.
On this March 1st, I say, "Here little lambie, lambie, lambie!"
