That is something that I do after each of my pilgrimages. I send my pictures, along with an address list, so that people have some pictures if they did not take many and so that they have addresses of all the pilgrims. Many times people keep in touch through the years.
I weeded my pictures down from nearly 1,000 to 420. Not too shabby!
Now I will have an address list of these pilgrims. I will keep the list handy for the day when I plan my next outing. Some of these pilgrims will want to go on the next pilgrimage as well. I am planning on going to the Holy Land and Rome (and Assisi as well if I can work it in.)
After that? Hmmmm. I am not sure. I think I am getting ready to call it quits. These pilgrimages are more and more work and I am getting to the point where I do not think I want to keep organizing them. Maybe it is time to let someone else start organizing these things.
Today will certainly feel as if I am still on pilgrimage. After all, as we were in record heat in Europe, the heat and humidity are still a part of our days lately.
If you go out today, please be careful. This heat is not only uncomfortable, it is downright dangerous.
