One of the things that amazes me is the Oasis Class ships of Royal Caribbean and their double hull construct that allows a Central Park in the middle of their ships. Central Park is filled with over 1,200 live plants and trees and is absolutely amazing and incredibly peaceful.
As you sit there listening to the birds chirping, you think to yourself — and you would be right — that the chirping noises (as well as the cricket noises at night) are recordings. Yet, as if to play with your mind, real birds fly by and make the illusion of the recorded sounds that much more real. 🙂
I can’t wait for the end of October when I go on a transatlantic cruise on the Oasis of the Seas. I will spend a lot of my time on my balcony but a lot of time as well sitting and reading in Central Park.
