I know that I cannot complain much about the weather. After all, I understand that back home (Munster, IN) it is 19 degrees and snowing right now. However, this evening it is 50 degrees. With the sun down, the damp cold kind of cuts right through you. I think we are staying in the rest of the evening.
This morning and for a part of the afternoon, I went to Disney's Hollywood Studios and caught up on my favorite attractions: The Great Movie Ride, the Back Lot Tour, Muppetvision 3D, to name a few. Later in the afternoon I returned to the hotel room and read a while until we left for dinner next door to the hotel at my all time favorite Disney restaurant, The Flying Fish. If you want to have an idea of the menu, take a gander here.
I had my all time favorites, the scallops. I have never had them as good anywhere else!
It was really nice because one of our group is still listed as a cast member. He allowed me to use his cast holiday discount card so we got our meal for a 40% discount. That saved us around $110. Made me pretty happy!
Tomorrow is going to be a bit of a lazy day for me. I plan on sleeping in as it is supposed to be a cold morning. Later it will be warming up to 71 degrees. Mid-afternoon my nephew and his wife and child are coming down to EPCOT to meet me for a late lunch/early dinner. We will be having our meal at The Coral Reef Restaurant in EPCOT at Nemo and Friends. The huge aquarium should keep their daughter enthralled during our meal.
I cannot believe that the end of the week is already upon us. I will be returning a week from today. At the present time, I do not want to think about that, so I won't. I have another several days to relax and unwind and I am going to take them!
I cannot wait to meet with my friends (and cast members) who sailed on the first shakedown cruise on the Disney Dream today. I want to hear all about the new ship. The inaugural cruise is at the end of this month but they are taking a few cruises so that the cast and crew can get all of their duties down pat and running smoothly. The ship looks like a real beauty.
Well, that's it for another day. Until tomorrow, rain, snow, sleet, or shine, I hope that God blesses you richly!
