Hyatt Regency Indianapolis

I’m at the Hyatt Regency Indianapolis this evening through Sunday night for the annual Knights of the Holy Sepulchre conference.

I was really excited when I got to my room.  I’m on the sixth floor, relatively low for this hotel; but, my room is off the beaten path.  When you get off the elevator, you go around a corner and then can walk the length of the hotel to get to rooms.  Or, if you have my room, you turn right and go down a hall that has two rooms, the vending area, and then four more rooms.  I’m three rooms from the end of a dead end hallway.  I won’t have to worry about all sorts of people walking by my room yacking away!  🙂

The room is quite nice as well.  I’ve never stayed here before.  I’m actually across the street from the Westin.  We’ve stayed there a few times in the past years.  You walk into the room and enter a hallway of sorts.  To the right is the bathroom.  In the hallway, there is a dry bar area with a mini-fridge in a cabinet.  There is also a closet (a bit too small — it doesn’t fit my suitcase).  You walk into the room.  The bed is to the right of a wall.  That will also block out any hall noise.  I think I’m going to like the place!

Here is a photo of the concourse area:

You know me and pictures.  I’m sure you’ll see lots more in the next few days.  🙂
