Another Month, Another Report

I received a phone call from my cardiologist’s pacemaker department this morning.  My pacemaker transmitted its monthly report while I slept last night.

No recorded events
Leads stable
Fluid level on target
Eighteen months of battery life left

I told the tech that I was really surprised.  The past two months, my battery life has increased by a month.  Two months ago, it was reporting sixteen months of battery life.  Either my unit is finding newer ways to conserve energy or one of these months it is going to drop a few months as it reports a correct number.  Whatever it is, I’m doing fine at the moment.
