This afternoon, a parishioner made an appointment to discuss a couple of theological points with Fr. Declan and me. I wondered what was going on when she was fidgeting and looking at her watch and at her phone. She was there to make sure that we were available and to hold us inside until “they” were ready for us.
At the right time, she handed me a card and took us outside for an appreciation parade. I was very moved.
