I’m feeling bad about writing this blog entry today. I am aware that back home is in the midst of another winter storm advisory and things are going to get dicey again. But, over here, we finally had what can be called a good day. It got up to 60 degrees today for the first time since we’ve been here. Our weather has been very cold as well, at least by Florida standards. We had several days in the 30’s and 40’s. Tomorrow is supposed to be the best day at around 63 degrees and sunny. The remainder of the week may be in the 60’s; but, most of the days are going to be incredibly rainy. We picked a bad set of weeks to go on vacation this year. But, at least it wasn’t as bad as back home.
Here are some pictures of the Boardwalk Resort taken from the Boardwalk:
If you look at the floor above the Big River Canopy, that is the second floor. Then, look to the set of windows to the right on the second floor. That was our two bedroom unit for our vacation.
Finally, I went in to EPCOT late in the morning. The marathon was still going on and runners were all over the “streets” of EPCOT. The crowds were restricted to a narrow walking band on the side. So, I ducked in to Norway to ride Frozen. I was in the last seat of the boat and there was no boat launched after me so I knew that my LED screen on my phone would not affect anyone. I took this video of the ride. Not horribly professional, but good enough to give you an idea of what it is about. I hope you enjoy it.
