Today was kind of a crazy day. I had the morning Mass and then did office work for a while. Fr. Declan and I went out to lunch together. We haven’t had a chance to do that in a while. We went to one of our standbys: Texas Roadhouse. Never had a bad meal there.
This afternoon, I set up for a visiting priest to do a wedding at 2:00 p.m. Then, from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m., I heard confessions solid. I mean solid. No breaks at all. I don’t know what it was; but, for a holiday weekend, it was sure unusual.
So, this evening, I’ve been sitting around the house and watching a little bit of everything. I do a lot of YouTube videos. I get frustrated at the ads interspersed but I like the content of many of the vlogs. What can I say?
They’re talking rain tomorrow. I hope so. The ground is still really dry and we need the water.
