It rained today — finally! It was supposed to begin at 11:00 a.m. and rain all day. It didn’t do that, though. Oh, yes, we had some rain; but, I think our trees and plants would all be saying that they want more.
Looking at the extended forecast, there is no rain predicted until a week from today. That’s too long to wait for another bout of water. I feel like poor Oliver Twist, “Please, Sir, I want some more.”
