Ah, today was a day to celebrate Knights. At all the Masses this weekend, actually, we celebrated our parish’s Knights of Columbus council as they held a membership drive. They are a wonderful fraternal organization dedicated to charity and realize that charity begins at home which is why they are do dedicated to family. I love our Knights of Columbus council and thank them for all that they do for the people of our parish and our community as well as the charity that they give to other places in our state and country.
At the Noon Mass, we also celebrated the Knights of the Holy Sepulchre. That group is dedicated to helping the Christians in the Holy Land as well as the preservation of churches, shrines, and basilicas in the Holy Land. The Christians there are in incredible need and the Knights and Ladies of the Holy Sepulchre really do a wonderful job in sending them aid.
May our days be spent in service to others. Thank you to the Knights and Ladies from both the Knights of Columbus as well as the Holy Sepulchre for the service they give to others.
