I began my cruise today. At 1:00 p.m., the announcement was made that the staterooms were available. This ship is older and a bit dated (rusting, fabric showing a lot of wear, et cetera) but it’s still is great condition to sail and sail we will. 🙂

When I got on board, I went to the Royal Promenade to get my glass for my unlimited soda package.
From there, I went to the main dining room to see where my table was located. We requested a table by the window and they fulfilled the request. I’m psyched!
After finding my dining room table, I went to check out the theater, my favorite ship venue.
While in the theatre, they announced that this week was Royal Birthday Bash and they listed names on a screen (it also displayed throughout the staterooms) of all the people celebrating birthdays this cruise. The last screen surprised me.
After dinner, my suitcase was outside my stateroom door so I unpacked. After I unpacked, I met my stateroom attendant. I think I might walk the ship a little bit before turning in for the night.
