This afternoon, we celebrated our 80th anniversary as a parish. We wanted to have a celebration for our 75th diamond anniversary however that was not able to happen because of numbers constrictions during the height of covid.
Today, we celebrated “80 is the new 75”. 🙂
We had a special celebration at the Noon Mass and then went to the Center for Performing Arts for an anniversary luncheon/program. It was really magnificent!
Thank you to all who planned the event and to all who came out to celebrate together. As I said at the Mass and the lunch, we’ve been blessed with 80 years in Munster and I am sure we will have many, many more years as a parish community here!
