A Product Of Yesterday

As I shared with you last night, yesterday was a day of total rest, something that I don’t often do unless I’m on vacation.  Even my “days off” while here at home are not complete days off.  I generally get a few hours before I find myself working again.

The complete day was refreshing and helped me plunge into today.  I got a lot of office work done before the 8:30 a.m. School Mass.  After the Mass, I had Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at 9:00 a.m. followed by an appointment at 9:30 a.m.

After the 9:30 a.m. appointment, I got more work done until my 11:00 a.m. appointment came in.  When they left, I went to the chapel for Benediction at 11:50 a.m.

I finished up some things in the office and then went to the house at 12:30 p.m. for lunch.  I told our parish secretary that I was going to stay at the house unless something came up that needed my attention back at the church office.  I intended — and I did just what I intended — to stay at the house after lunch and work on a future bulletin from my home computer.

The marvels of technology help connect computers anywhere so I can always get my work done.  🙂

So, after a productive day, I knocked off around 4:30 p.m. and relaxed for the remainder of the afternoon/evening.  Tomorrow’s another day.
