For many years, I would take very few days off. To be honest, I’m still not good about taking them regularly. I am, however, taking them more often now than I used to. As I get older, I have more of a need to disconnect and take the time to recharge. That is why I took my day off today. That day, technically, is from Wednesday noon to Thursday noon so it gives me a chance to go overnight to my condo in Munster. I’m close enough to the parish should anything come up but removed from the property so that I can feel as if I am away.
