The faculty and staff sponsored a pot luck for my birthday today. Whenever they sponsor a pot luck for anyone, one thing is certain, you will come out stuffed. I will admit that I overate. I had lunch and supper at one sitting. And then, God help me, had dessert! 🙂
Today was definitely a day to “feel the love”. Greetings from so many people on Facebook, raising over my $500 goal to “donate my birthday” to a local charity on Facebook (I asked friends to donate to Planting Possibilities, Inc. instead of giving me anything), and letters, cards, and calls from friends really brightened up my day.
Thank you to all of you for taking the time to let me know that I mean something to you. It really feels good!
