Today did not work out the way I had planned my time at the diocese. Admittedly, this was more of an exception than a rule; however, I plan to be out of the Pastoral Center each day by 3:00 p.m. This afternoon, however, there was a big meeting from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
The weather is beating up my sinuses, the heat is draining my energy, the allergens are doing their thing, and the long day has done me in.
I am calling it a day and hitting the sack. I get up for the early Mass tomorrow and then “sit and wait” as I go to my cardiologist for a routine check up.
