Before, I knew in my head that the end of the year was coming soon. Today, it got real. First of all, we celebrated the Solemnity of Christ the King, the last Sunday in Ordinary Time. That means Advent begins next weekend. Second, the Christmas Trees for the Knights of Columbus were delivered today and they worked really fast to unload the truck and set up the trees and wreathes. The side yard looks like a tree farm once again. That means that Christmas is right around the corner.
Because the tree farm has a new owner and is in transition, only one type of tree was being made available this year: Frasier trees in various sizes. They also have wreathes and fir rope/garland for sale. The Christmas Tree Sale begins the day after Thanksgiving.
