Fr. Frank Torres, passed away suddenly November 14, 2022, at 9:43 p.m. Father Torres was ordained to the priesthood on June 4, 1994, at Holy Angels Cathedral.
The Rite of the Reception of the Body will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 20, 2022, at Saint Helen Parish, 302 North Madison Street in Hebron with visitation until 8:00 p.m. and Evening Prayer at 7:00 p.m.
Morning Prayer will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 21, 2022. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated immediately following at 10:30 a.m. Bishop McClory will be presiding at the funeral Mass.
Father Torres will be interred at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville. Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue in Portage, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
