This morning was a lazy morning for me. This was the latest wake up for the entire conference. Mass was at 8:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Cathedral and then we came to the convention center for breakfast. When I finished, I went back to my room for a couple of hours and then checked out of the hotel. Check out isn’t until 12:00 Noon which makes it really nice! Nonetheless, I checked out at 10:30 a.m. which was 9:30 a.m. back in Munster.
On the way home, I entered Plymouth, Indiana city limits and it was there that I had my reminder that winter is just around the corner. A huge electronic sign was on the side of the road from INDOT (Indiana Department of Transportation) soliciting anyone who might want a job as a snowplow driver to apply as soon as possible.
Snow? As soon as possible? Oy. I’m not sure I’m ready for that. 🙂
However, I -am- home from the conference and ready to jump back in the saddle tomorrow. The conference was great; but, it’s good to be back.
